Application procedure

If you have found a vacancy you are interested in and you are curious about the application process, we would be happy to tell you more about it so you know what to expect.

Step 1: Your application

We would like to receive your application via this site. You can apply simply by providing your personal information, a CV and a motivation letter (if asked). 
For some vacancies, we use video recruitment. If this is applicable to the vacancy you wish to apply for, you will receive an invite for the video interview one day after your initial application. You will also find additional instructions in the invite. Our recruiters carefully assess all applications and will send you an initial reaction within a week. If you are not eligible for the job at this time, set up a job alert so you can keep up-to-date on the positions you are interested in! 


Step 2: The first contact

If we see a potential match, we will get in touch by telephone to get to know you better. Because for us it may not always be just about work experience, as we are also looking for a personal fit. So we would like to get to know you a little better. The same is obviously true for you, so you will also have an opportunity to ask your first questions. If we feel there is a match, we will invite you for a first interview or a selection meeting.


Step 3: The meeting

Depending on the job you have applied for, we will invite you to a first interview or a selection meeting. At our casinos, we usually invite multiple candidates to attend the selection meetings at the same time. We will then tell you more about Holland Casino, get to know you better in a one-to-one interview and challenge you to play a few games. This gives us an opportunity to find out whether you are the enthusiastic and client-focused employee we are looking for, while you can find out whether the job is indeed what you are looking for.

For management positions and jobs at the head office, we will invite you for one or more face-to-face interviews. The procedure may also include an online assessment.


Step 4: The hiring process

If there is a mutual click, we will make you an offer that includes a salary and secondary employment terms suited to the position. If you agree, you will be screened via CV-OK and we will ask you to hand over a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). This is a standard procedure that applies to all our employees as part of our responsible gaming policy. Once this process has been completed successfully, you will receive your contract and we will happily welcome you to the Holland Casino team!
